Set in 1920 off the coasts of Brittany, Ar-Mare follows Morgan Le Duienn, a fisher-woman
turned
light-keeper. After the Great War, which spurs her to escape France's new policies, she
takes up
the job at the Ar-Mare lighthouse only to immediately find out that the place is not what it
seems. The game tells a story of loneliness and of one-sided,
abusive love, and ownership.
I worked as the main sound designer on this project. We were a team of 10 students and we
had 6 months to produce a vertical slice.
With the 3 game artists of the team we establish the artistic directions and we went on a
trip on the brittany coastline to do field recording and grab references pictures.
Regarding the integration part, I made all the audio related blueprints : footsteps
and breath systems as well as other regular emitter systems like spline type emitter.
For the ambiences I set up and use Wwise Spatial Audio, using rooms, portals, and reverb
zones.
Dans les pas de Mia is an enigmatic narrative phygital project playable on tablet with a
children's book, in which a parent-child pair embody the sweet Mïa on her birthday.
I worked with two other sound designer on this project and I did ambiances design and
integration both in FMOD and Unity using the C# API.
Puppy Guards is a 2 - 4 players cooperative couch game in which players take on the role of
museum watchmen in charge of protecting the art pieces from at best clumsy, at worst
malicious
visitors !
I was the only sound designer on Puppy Guard. I established the audio artistic direction
with
the artists and the game designers. I did the sound design, FMOD integration and Unity
integration using C# API.
Puppy Guard has been select at the Busan Indie Connect in 2024.
DISCO GECKO is a 2v2 party game where you're lost in a huge jungle nightclub and must
find
your friend! Use your tongue and the environment to get in the way of the opposing team...
and
be the first two geckos to kiss!
I was the sole sound designer working on Disco Gecko. I established the audio artistic
direction
in collaboration with the game artist and designer. I also managed communication with our
two
external composers. I used Wwise for integration, and in Unity, I worked with a dedicated
tool
developed by the programmers on the project.
TRIOSE is a cooperative shoot 'em up for 2 players.
This project has been developpe in a week by eight peoples. It's the first student game I've
worked on and it's been a real source of learning.
I worked as a solo sound designer on this project and I did the SFX and the music. I also
did
the integration using FMOD.
